My name is Susan Silvey. I began teaching Creative Writing here at West End Elementary in 2007. The four years that I served as an Alabama Reading Initiative Coach prepared me to return to the classroom. I taught kindergarten for two years and now I am working in the area of Intervention. I am a graduate of Jacksonville State University with a B.S. in Elementary Education and received my Master's Degree from the University of Alabama. Roll Tide!!! My seven and a half year old granddaughter, Addi Grace, is the light of my life.
