Overdue / Lost Material Policy
West End Elementary does not charge overdue fines. Students may have items checked out for one week. When the items become overdue, a notice will be sent to the student. They may renew items for additional time, and the item must be present in the library when it is renewed.
If an item becomes lost or it is damaged, it is the student's responsibility along with their parents / guardian to pay for the item. Students will not be allowed to check out any other materials until the item has been found or paid for. Items that have been paid for are eligible for a refund up to one month from the time that it was paid for.
